We took a taxi to Confucius Temple this morning...mostly just a shopping area. Again, with the retail! But I happily bought some souvenirs: a beautiful brocade wallet for myself ($4.60, which I bargained down from $5.90...go me!), some pretties for my peeps back home, Chinese dresses for my girlies ($3 each). Haven't bought any for the boys yet or for myself. Hope to find them in Guangzhou.
Jiushu slept great last night, and was more peaceful at breakfast. He is increasingly receptive to our feeding him. Was majorly fussy out and about, so maybe he just needed a morning nap. We will head to the airport in a couple of hours for a 4:30 p.m. flight to Guangzhou. Goodbye, Nanjing! Thanks for the memories!

Hi from Beijing! Glad to hear things are going well! We have been praying for you!!!
A suggestion on baby wearing. Wear him facing you. It is better for bonding (eye contact) and better for his hips (they will be in a more natural position if he is facing in to you)
What a beautiful boy. Thanks so much for posting pics and for your talent and ability to clearly express your thoughts and feelings - and willingness to share them with us. In the world of "change is good, you go first..." - you are providing us with a lot of peace as we prepare.
Love the photos! I hope you have a good flight to Guangzhou.
Enjoy GZ! I loved it there!
Glad that things are settling in a bit. Just take it one day at a time....
We enjoyed the time in province, but entering Guangzhou and being with other adoptive families was a big relief. I will pray that you are encouraged there and connect with some other families in a neat way!

Glad to hear the good news about baby J sitting up better, and glad you have arrived safely in GZ. The camo shop made me chuckle. I look forward to seeing the wallet and the girls' dresses! :0) Praying for you! Lots of love.
