We're in Guangzhou!

Got in yesterday evening.  Flight was short and sweet, and Jiushu did great!  And we are praising God that he sat on my lap--balancing himself, not leaning against me--a good part of the way!  Up to this point he either could not or would not sit alone.  We are at the Victory hotel, small room, but nice.  Had a good breakfast this morning, and are headed now to the medical exam for all the children (very cursory).  High of 91 today, with chance of rain.  Will write more later.  Thank you for praying...keep it up!

What great news that he sat on his own! And hooray that he did so well on the flight. :)

I don't know if this will be similiar but I think Joni regressed in physical development during that first week of grieving. At first she would only be held and laid down but then a few days in she sat by herself, and then a few days later showed me she could crawl and then when we visited the orphanage she took steps for the nannies (who obviously knew she could do this). I would expect some changes as he emotionally settles. Blessings, Lynne
