I'm inviting you to view the shame that is my dining room table with the full expectation that you will pat yourself on the back and say with a sigh of relief good heavens, my house isn't nearly so messy as that!
I wish I could claim it's a hideous fluke, a one-off, as the Brits would say. It's not.
You're welcome.

Thank you, Jerusha! It makes me feel better because ours looks about the same. Whenever I look at photos of the boys taken in our house, I notice all these piles of stuff in the background!
Did sneak into my house and take a pic w/o me knowing??lol...
Looks strangely familiar to my dining room table on any given day, and I'm not even homeschooling now. . so I think I have no excuse!!! It's always a pain to clear it every night before dinner. Despite my great attempts, I cannot seem to keep stuff of the dining room table. . you are among friends!!!
LOVE!! My hubby gets on my case constantly about our dining table. Though we're not home-schoolers, all 4 of us are in school (both parents & 2 kids). The table is homework-central. So, there's no way to keep it clean. And recently, the kids feel there's no need to clear their plates & leftover food stuff, since the table's already a mess. Ugh! Anyway, don't feel bad!! I'm with ya!
Love it! That's what my kitchen bar looks like! I'm glad I'm not the only one! :)
That's what our table looks like pretty much all the time!!!

Yup, we got it too! Horizontal Surface Disease -- HSD -- if it's a horizontal surface, we need to lay papers on it and then leave them there as long as humanly possible. =D
